The long days and late nights
are only a distraction
the busy work of life.
My thoughts are what keep me turning in bed
Times crawls as the seconds fly off the clock.
And the only thing I know
is that the person I was
is a shell of who I am.
Don't give me a second thought
because we both know how the first one ended.
